I believe, at heart, we never fully grow up. No matter how successful, mature, or distinguishable we compare to our youth, our childhood still has enduring influences on who we are. As I move through different periods of my life, I’ve come to terms with the reality that my childhood has played an influential role in who I am today. My work explores the relationship between my identity and my childhood, specifically, the memories of my Chinese-American childhood and identity.
